From Classroom to Career: The Path of IT Students to Professional Success

In today's fast-paced digital age, the Information Technology (IT) sector stands out as one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving fields. For students aspiring to enter this industry, the journey can seem daunting. Yet, countless success stories illustrate that with the right combination of training and determination, it’s entirely possible to transition from an IT newbie to a successful professional.

Robust IT has students all around the UK and beyond, proving that dedication and passion can lead to remarkable achievements. Philip had previously signed up for cybersecurity training with a different provider, but he was never able to make much progress because he wasn't getting the support he required. Instead he started training with Robust IT, and in just 1 month he had already passed his first exam.

Philip was positive about our training all throughout his time with us. Even when he was hindered by his previous employer preventing him from attending his final classroom, he knew that it was only a matter of time until he would pass that last exam and enter the career he had been preparing for.

Now Philip has earned all of his qualifications and is working as a SOC analyst, protecting companies from large-scale cyber attacks trying to steal sensitive data from customers. 

Jenish had a rough start to his training, having to delay it due to illness, but he quickly bounced back and passed his first exam. He steadily progressed through the training until he passed his third exam, where he then requested our support with recruitment.

With just those 3 qualifications, Jenish has now started working in an IT department for the NHS. He is also completing his 2 remaining cybersecurity qualifications with us, developing and expanding his skill set to reach even higher positions.

Shawn got off to a flying start, finishing his studying for his first course in just 9 days and passing the exam another 4 days after that. It took him just 3 months to pass his third exam and get started with the recruitment process.

Shawn has just recently started a new job as a technician in a data centre thanks to the certifications he earned, and he let us know that he couldn't be happier about it! He still has 2 more qualifications to earn from his course package, so he'll be continuing his training with us while he develops his skills in the industry as a network engineer.
